Event #1 November 1-2 | Frida Kahlo Oasis: Closing Celebration
Are you hungry for some art history? This is your to enjoy the Frida Kahlo Oasis exhibit at the San Antonio Botanical Garden.
Visitors are invited to explore the famous landmarks of Kahlo’s garden at Casa Azul such as the pyramid that displayed Diego Rivera’s pre-Colombian artifacts collection, the frog-themed fountain, and Kahlo’s desk and easel.

Event #5 November 7 | Out Of The Darkness Walk
Have you ever lost a loved one to suicide or know someone else who has? Join the community at Nelson Wolf Stadium for a community walk and fundraiser to raise awareness and help with prevention efforts in this 5k walk.
The Community Walks, held in hundreds of cities across the country, are the core of the Out of the Darkness movement, which began in 2004. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to create a culture that’s smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost.

Event #7 November 19-January 2nd Lightscape
Can’t get enough Christmas light eye candy? Come check out ‘Lightscape’
First premiering to sold out crowds in the U.K. and then Chicago, Lightscape will shine throughout the San Antonio Botanical Garden’s 38 acres. Guests will be enchanted by magical light displays set along a beautifully illuminated one-mile path winding through the Botanical Garden. These captivating illuminations will dazzle the senses and the show will proudly include installations unique to Texas created by local and international artists.

Ready to build up an appetite for turkey day? Join in on the fun at the San Antonio Food Banks annual Turkey Trot.
Turkey Trot is the San Antonio Food Bank’s annual 5K walk/run that raises funds to help feed families during the holidays.

Event #11 November 26 | Ford Holiday River Parade
Time to get into that Christmas Spirit! Santa and Mrs. Clause are back!
The 40th Annual Ford Holiday River Parade is a San Antonio tradition that offers a spectacular one-hour parade along the San Antonio River Walk. The 2021 theme, 40 Years of Magic, features illuminated floats and costumed parade participants.
