Event number 2 takes place on December 3rd  at ‘Brick at Blue Star’

The Good Market is a curated collection of socially conscious pop-up shops creating thoughtful products.

San Antonio Event #3

Event number 3 takes us to Windcrest Tx starting December 3rd Why? Because it’s so awesome, my family never misses it!

“The annual Windcrest light up is a decades old tradition in which residents decorate their homes with elaborate displays of holiday lights. The wind crest light up contest is held to pick the most beautifully decorated homes in various judging categories. The public is invited to drive along neighborhood streets to view the brightly lit displays. Citizens and visitors are welcome to nominate addresses for the people’s choice award. Light up is made possible through volunteers from Windcrest women’s club and the city of Windcrest. Thousands of visitors from San Antonio and the surrounding area come to see the free lighting event every year. Light up begins with an opening ceremony in December running through New Year’s Eve December 31st 2022.”

Are you ready to lace up your running shoes?  Event number 4 is for you!

This event takes place Dec 3 – 4, 2022, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

San Antonio Event #5

Do you like free events? Well, here’s another one for event number five. “Joy To The World by Calmus Ensemble.Musical Bridges Around The World Describes them as…RuJssell Hill Rogers Musical Evenings at San Fernando Cathedral merge the historic architecture of the nation’s oldest continuously operating Catholic sanctuary with enchanting music of some of the finest, award-winning artists from around the globe!

A perfect blend of sound, precision, lightness and wit. These are the hallmarks of the Calmus Ensemble, now one of the most successful vocal groups in Germany. These five Leipzig musicians have won a whole string of international prizes and competitions and the reach of their activities is constantly expanding. Shaped by the centuries-old tradition of great German boys’ choirs, they are at home in the vocal music of the Renaissance, the Baroque and the Romantic. They revel in singing pop, folk and jazz, as well as chansons and golden oldies from the 1920s.”

December 4th at San Fernando Cathedral  starting at 7pm.  The tickets are free but you need to register.

San Antonio Event #6

Tis the season for outdoor movies! Event number six is another free event. December 7th 

The cinema on Will’s Plaza presents Elf.

Join us for a FREE movie night out on the Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza at The Tobin Center the second Friday of most months. The plaza will open at 7pm and the screening will begin at 7pm, so bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy the movie on our 32-foot LED video wall! Full concessions and bar available.

No pets or outside food or drinks allowed on the plaza, please.

San Antonio Event #7

Is history your passion?  Event number seven may be right for you.

December 10 on the Riverwalk 4 pm-6 pm 

Join us on the beautiful San Antonio River for a 90 minute cruise exploring San Antonio ‘s Black History and the holiday lights that adorn the Riverwalk.  Our trip starts at La Villita, we travel north through the Museum Reach to the Pearl then back downtown to the Alamo, Convention Center and back to La Villita.  You will be surprised at the continued African American influence in San Antonio.  Since we are celebrating the holidays, refreshments will be served!

Are you searching for some holiday magic?  Event number eight, ‘The Illusionist,’ may do the trick.

December 16th at 8 pm.

Is folklor dancing your idea entertainment? Check out Ballet Folklorico Sol De San Antonio December 17 at Edgewood Theater of Performing Arts.
